A Great Way to End the Semester

On 13th December 2024,

This week, myself, Jonathan, Swaroop, and Surya worked together to combine our ideas and create one final design. Each of us chose a different space to focus on and the goal was to bring all our ideas together into something that made sense as a whole. 

I felt great to see how everyone’s different ideas added something special to the Fratton space. We started sharing our thoughts on a large A3 sheet and even though sometimes we ended up talking about random things we always found a way to bring our ideas back together and make them work. 

It wasn’t easy because we had to make sure everyone’s ideas fit together in this design. We worked late into the night and even during weekends to make sure every work comes together in the end. At the same time.

Also, we were finishing up our module and the last class was a great way to end the semester. Rachel gave us some good feedback and some more ideas how to develop the space on our work, which made us feel more confident to work further. 

After the lunch we had a guest lecture about sustainable materials by Rokhshid, which was really interesting and it was lot of materials she taught us and it helped us to think about how to include these ideas in our site. 

After the lecture, we spent the rest of the day working on our project with my group mates, with new ideas and how to delevop. It was a perfect mix of learning, creativity and teamwork, and it ended up being a week we will remember.
